What is your cancellation policy?

We get that life can be unpredictable, but to keep things fair for our members and staff, we have a 8-hour minimum cancellation window. If you cancel your class within 8 hours of your class start time, you will not receive your credit back. If you cancel your class more than 8 hours prior, you will receive your credit back onto your account!

How does the waitlist work?

Accepted Answer

When classes are fully booked, you can join the waitlist. If an existing attendee cancels out of the class, you will be offered the spot via text on a first-come-first-served basis within the waitlist offering you the spot.

You will have 30 minutes to respond to the text before the next person on the waitlist will be offered the spot. You will not lose your space in the waitlist.

If you miss the text message, but the spot isn't taken, please reach out as we will be able to move you into the class if it is still available.

I'm a beginner, how do I get started?

We can't wait to introduce you to the wonderful world of pilates! Simply grab our Intro Offer and jump onto the Momence app to book your first class!

Question 4

What do I need to know for my first class?

Accepted Answer

When you join us for your first class, make sure you come in about 10 minutes prior so that we can introduce ourselves and get to know you. This will also give us time to introduce you to the reformer and learn about any injuries you have.

Make sure you wear something that is comfortable and you can move freely in. You'll also need a pair of grip socks, which will help you avoid slipping on the reformer. If you don't already have a pair, we sell them in the studio for $20.

Please also bring a water bottle and gym towel, everything else is supplied!

What level of experience do your classes require?

All of our classes are 'Open' level classes, meaning they are suitable for everyone! We offer different spring options and provide extra layers to our moves so that you can progress to where your body is.

Question 6

What if I have an injury/health condition?

Accepted Answer

We firstly recommend you getting approval from your medical practitioner or physiotherapist as they will advise you if your injury/health condition is suitable for group fitness training/reformer Pilates. If you are unsure or in doubt, please contact us before booking in to a class for a confidential discussion so that we can advise a suitable option that will suit you. An option may be doing a private 1:1 class to see determine if group classes will be suitable.

How soon will I see results?

As Joseph Pilates himself famously said, “you will feel a change after 10 sessions, you will see a change after 20 sessions, and you will have a new body after 30 sessions.”

Do you offer child minding?

We don't currently offer official child minding, however we do have a kids room at the back of the studio for those older kids who don't need constant supervision and we are always happy for you to bring your baby along providing they are happy to stay in the pram!
